Tuesday, September 4, 2012. This summer, has been absolutely fabulous. I have not been blogging the way I hoped I would have, but many wonderful times have been had. We went to Grand Haven twice this year. The first time was for almost two weeks and a part of our anniversary. One night, Pete decided he wanted to take his old trick kite out for a spin. When we were done flying the kite, we decided to take a moment to enjoy the beautiful site that was Grand Havens sunset.

Sunday, November 18, 2012. In 2007 and again in 2010, I was diagnosed with Evans Syndrome. A rare autoimmune disorder in which the body produces antibodies that destroy the red blood cells, platelets and white blood cells. It has no known cause and is not believed to be hereditary. However, my situation appears to be unique even for this relatively rare disease. I was born on the island of Malta.
